OVERVIEW
Psychometric tests have dominated intelligence testing for a century. The defining feature of this approach is its empirical foundation; ‘psychometric’ simply refers to the quantitative assessment of psychological states/abilities. While quantitative assessment rests on a massive measurement technology, its theoretical foundations are shallow, as reflected in its origins. The earliest tests that influenced contemporary intellectual measures directly emerged from studies by Alfred Binet and colleagues in France (Cronbach 1984).

Millicent Sedibane is a registered Psychometrist (independent practice) based in Woodmead, Johannesburg offering psychological services for individuals (from childhood until adulthood). She is the owner of Sedichue Assessments and Business Solutions. Sedichue is a black female owned company in South Africa operating in the field of Psychological Sciences (Psychometric Assessments). We offer individual, organisational and community development services. Our core focus is on empowering and advancing people (individuals) in different sectors within the workplace and the community at large. We offer an effective, simple and scientific solution to quantify behaviour, predict impact and ensure a return on investment in human resources.
OUR CULTURE
Sedichue has grown in leaps and bounds making a significant imprint in the psychometric space in South Africa over the last few years.
